Barton stilts






three Black-winged Stilts were found on the new Blow Wells ponds at Far Ings this morning and still present this afternoon feeding well---following a first-winter in September 1987 these are only the second record for the area

Your pictures are incredible, Graham. I had no idea we had such wonderful things right under our noses ( or more accurately, over our heads).

I was there on Thursday night watching the Stilts and I love to see your pictures of them ( probably not so exciting for you having seen them weeks ago in Cyprus).

Now I have definitely GOT to spot me a bittern x
