male Marsh Harriers seem unable to stop themselves trying to pull in any passing female even when they already have long term mates and this causes real action! the local female is here seen in rapid low level pursuit of a new female that the male seemed to have fed already -- clearly this is a well established old female and she was having none of the new female and sent her packing
