Grayling master of disguise

the Coversands of north-west Lincs has a good population of Graylings -- these were on one of my survey sites on a cool and breezy day -- certainly on breezy days the upper wing disappears behind the lower by the time you realise they have settled -- this one was the only individual that kept the orange tips up for any length of time -- when they settle you can easily miss them!
