juv Marsh Harriers










droopy leg had this condition when first seen but he was being attacked by an adult female at the time and I was not sure whether that is how he got the leg injury but he seems to be fit enough and it does not seem to hamper his forays into the reedbeds -- these birds are becoming more independent and some of the early broods are now dispersing while some the the later ones are still in the nest in what has been a very odd year for harriers up here
