local Common Terns

good to see these two juvs fledge from one of our local nests; one fell off the raft when about 10 days old and could not get back on -- it swam to the shore and I guessed it would be a snack for the local foxes but it hung around amongst the loafing waterfowl and the adults continued to feed it so good to see it joining its sibling on the wing -- up to 30 Common Terns around the pits at the moment so a good chance the Bridled will join them!!! while these have fledged some repeat relays are only just hatching
