ooops Snow Buntings

Monday evening Julia came in from walking the dog and described two small birds seen on the Humber bank that had some white when they flew; she said she only mentioned it as she knew I had been looking for Snow Buntings!! -- after serious consideration I suggested  they may have been Reed Buntings -- silly move - then last night a text to say 2 Snow Buntings on the Humber at Far Ings -- still in exactly the same spot where Julia had them on Monday this morning but in the worst light possible --  lesson seriously learnt!!!
