micro Goshawks

some excellent Goshawk watching on Wednesday at Wyekham but the viewpoint is rapidly becoming overgrown with birch scrub and trees blocking the views of the valley -- surely this must be part of the management plan for the forest?
Up to 12 Goshawks on view including 2-3 juvenile males -- none ever close enough for decent photos but always great experience -- when they display with fluffed out undertail coverts they also seem to keep the tail really tightly closed so it looks very narrow and somewhat odd -- very small images but just one this size from Lincs would be a record!
