That thin pale line above the black ho...Hi Graham,<br /><br />That thin pale line above the black horizontal line is perfectly fine for Green-winged Teal and seems to vary with a given bird's posture. That's nothing to worry about. <br /><br />More interesting to me is the boldness of the white lines on the face, though likely not a deal-breaker as this varies.
