 did some ode photography last week - mainly with the Canon R6mark2 and the Canon RF 100-400. - male Banded Demoiselle, Brown Hawker, Common Blue Damselfly, Common Darter, male and female Emperor and Four-spotted Chaser of the form praenublia

 a very early Common Darter on the 21st plus the usual early contenders of Hairy, female in flight and ovi-positing, Large Red Damselfly and emergent Black-tailed Skimmer

common and ruddy darters were very common with the first gangs of Migrant Hawkers, lots of Emerald Damsels a few Southern and Brown Hawkers but again a worrying lack of Black Darters and Common Hawkers in the forest
