On May 24th 1994 I twitched a male Rustic Bunting at North Cotes pools as my first Lincs bird- found the previous day by the late and much missed Dave Bradbeer - 38 years later and my second Lincs Rustic also a male was in a ditch not 2kms from the site of my first - elusive and hard to see in its chosen roadside ditch images of any sort were a bonus as it looked for a long time that we would not find it in the windy and eventually wet conditions - some rubbish record shots
