Lincs Little Bunting
yet again I was the wrong side of the dunes when my two colleagues found this Little Bunting at Donna Nook yesterday-- still have not found a rare bunting in Britain -- rubbish shots as it perched briefly before flying into the realignment and disappearing as is their wont in Lincs

Never been a fan of in hand bird shots but shows some features up close -- watched it in the scrub by the canal later none the worse for its experience

Little Bunting in Lincs
only my second Lincs Little Bunting; still a rare bird with 11 records for the county -- a good winter find for Dean N; in a totally unassuming little field -- always flighty today in dull weather so rubbish record shots --

Little Bunting
some fortuitous survey locations this week dictated a visit to Spurn Point today -- so after completion had a look at a couple of birds -- distant and dull light Little Bunting but calling frequently
