falcon day
appalling light as usual -- either dull as dishwater or bright with wobbly haze -- but just watching Hobbies feeding is the ultimate in birding

Red-footed Falcons batch 3
they were feeding on large grasshopper / crickets of which there were large numbers along this track
Two females chased after this Common Kestrel that was carrying food -- still thinking they could get a free meal from an adult
