Cranberry marsh Valemount
a tip from the staff at Mount Robson VC sent us to the Cranberry Marsh trail at -Valemount unfortunately we got onto the 6.5km trail that went through a lot of woodland rank with mosquitos so not much visible in that part but the marsh was good with lots of dragons including Blue-eyed Hawker, Four-spotted Skimmer (same as Four-spot Chaser here), PacificForktails and Taiga Bluets plus the two whiteface species; birds included an American Bittern seen in flight and then started booming, Cinnamon Teal, Yellowthroats, Cedar Waxwings, Western Wood Pewee and Dusky Flycatchers. Butterflies included several Swallowtails and White Admirals;
