a couple of Kingfishers having a battle over the best perch; juvenile Song Thrush, Red-crested Pochard on waters Edge presumably a 1cy drake from iris and bill pattern, and a Garganey on Wedge - think its maybe a 1cy drake but not certain on ageing -- and a buck Roe Deer

The 5D4 IQ shows well in the Carrion Crow shot -- Kingfishers are massive crops

I do not actually like these images -- what do people think? always a nice bird but surely over done on the photography front?

after the winter there was a long gap with no local sightings but a pair returned and seem to have reared two broods -- a brief morning visit by this individual
