big influx of Painted Ladies (81) counted on one forest ride today plus 190 Peacocks same ride and a few Red Admirals plus a couple of Brimstones and no less than 7 Silver-washed Fritillaries -- also several Large Whites still,

a few recent inverts

tis the season for dragons and butts -- seemed to have been a mass departure of vagrant dragons from Donna Nook today just one roaming Vagrant Emperor not showing well and one male Red-veined Darter also not showing well plus a few Emperors -- herewith first Brown Hawker of the season from Friday, Painted Lady, butterfly of the month, Red Admiral, Speckled Wood and a general Black-tailed Skimmer also had 3 male Broad-bodied Chasers in Broughton west Wood yesterday again my first of the year
