Curlew on mudflat
Walking on the Humber Bridge I noticed this lone Curlew feeding on the mudflats below: an interestingly different image
weather and sand bars
a somewhat stormy start to yesterday and then plenty of wind - decided to take a walk on the bridge to capture the sand bars at low tide for a change

arriving Pink-feet
part of a total of 300 Pink-feet that arrived from the east with other wildfowl at Barton this morning -- note the two neck-collared birds int he flock one is certainly PZK the other appears to be TO or D H
