The East Halton gull
this 2cy gull has been frequenting Winter's Pit at East Halton for the last few weeks and has generated a bit of interest as its identification is clearly not straightforward; with some renewed interest and suggestions of Slaty-backed Gull I realised I had not made the photos widely accessible so here are my efforts on a sunny afternoon in late February -
and some more in flatter light from today
above all March 12th 2022 and below February 2022
