Jack Snipe number 1
we dipped a super looking juvenile White-rumped Sandpiper at Gib today but photographic wader compensation was provided by two Jack Snipe; the first a confiding bird that fed in the open right in front of us while the second ran past the hide in cracking light; another entertaining day with 2 Richard's Pipits, 2 Jack Snipe, Great Grey Shrike, a super Wood Warbler, Black Redstart, Short-eared owl, Yellow-browed Warbler and Pied Flycatcher
