the male Pallid Harrier experience

all images taken from the official view point so as anyone who has been will know these are seriously heavy crops -- all taken with Canon 5D4 and Canon 400 DO 2 with Canon 2x mark 3 converter -- I have to say that thus far I am mazed by this camera -- the AF is astounding, this bird was mainly a pin prick but 90% of shots were still in focus, some with obvious shake problems, but the detail it produces from such heavy crops is something I have not come across with any other camera including the 1DX -- the light was also dull so 1600 ISO all day --

appalling Pallid Harrier shots

records of the juvenile Pallid Harrier in Lincs

again never came that close so only pin prick images but when it was closest against the sky the 7D2 went on one of its holiday jaunts and focussed on something unseen not the subject in the viewfinder --after seemingly heading off south mid morning it came back north about 11:30 and was lost to view heading towards Tetney Marsh past North Cotes Point but it did not reappear by 16:15
