a pink Slender-billed Gull

appalling light every day on this beautiful pink-flushed adult Slender-billed Gull -- the pink flush to the primary coverts and outer primaries does not seem to be mentioned in most texts -- it was also colour-ringed presumably in one of the Camargue colonies

Great shots !
If you have a photo of the Slender-billed Gull where we can read the code you can send the informations to Nicolas Sadoul at nicolassadoul @ yahoo.fr
The bird could have been ringed in Camargue but also in Languedoc (west of the Camargue) where there is also a colony (480 couples in 2009).
Best regards.

A french birder who loves your photos.
