mega rare bird Dendrocopos minor

well they are in North Lincs anyway -- I heard a male drumming in 2010, saw two in 2005 and found my last nest in 2004 so when I heard this bird drumming this morning I had to do a double take to make sure I had identified it correctly -- I estimated it was 70 - 80 feet up and never came any lower hence the poor images but it was great to find one again; the shot behind the branch shows it hiding from a Sparrowhawk -- very effective camo
