with a strong south-easterly there were a few seabirds up the Humber but less than expected; Gannets formed the bulk as usual with 58 birds all juvs but otherwise 2 Arctic Skuas, a Fulmar the first for 12 years and 4 Common Terns were all that I could pick up

juvenile Hobby still
breathtaking hunting skills today as this juv covered up to two miles in as many minutes and went from 1m to 250m in next to no time stooping low over the water and flying up to 500m to catch a single insect -- amazing birds
