probably the last few WWBT and its enemies today
the tern adopted the same reaction to Sparrowhawks, Marsh Harrier juv, adult Hobby and a juv Peregrine namely get up high and hope they don't see you -- compared directly to a Sand Martin you see just how small they are

WWBTerns with 5D4
still pretty dull early am -- all these with the Canon 5D4 and Canon 400DO2 plus 1.4x converter - it did come a little closer at one point which was useful

White-winged Black Tern
I go by the traditional naming protocols -- superb juv on the local pits but mostly just too distant for decent images -- these are some of the best - challenging light and camera autofocus as well in the bright bits and with what is a really small bird -- second earliest juv I have seen just beaten by one at Messingham on July 25th 2004
