Marsh Harrier butterfingers

assume the juvenile actually found this valuable prey item after fumbling the pass -- food shortages appear to be one of the factors in poor productivity this year

Brown and Moorland /Common Hawkers

seems a poor year for dragons but got a couple of Moorland Hawkers and four Browns today in the wind

Silver-washed Fritillaries

a bit blustery today and less individuals than last week

Caspian Tern at Frampton

surveying about 20 miles away it seems churlish not to drop by -- the heat was a bit much though

Lincs Ravens

still find it strange when I come across Ravens in Lincs after so many decades of birding without even a suggestion of one -- 4 cavorting and vocalising today

Comet Neowise

late to the party and didn't expect the cloud to clear last night so only got to the Humber bank not the nest of spots -- need to do better -- for once could do with a 100-400 lens
