Seldom appreciated but beautiful birds - the dynamic range of the Canon R6 is superb - Canon R6 with Canon 400 DO 2 and 2x converter  

The colour ringed bird was ringed at Dunkirk in Cambs in 2014 and has only been seen once since at Messingham SQ where these were taken in 2018 - so its now 8 years old

 a belated post from a visit last week to the deep south for this American Wigeon that proved tricky to locate and then nowhere near close unlike its Eurasian congeners but a nice bright drake
