on Sunday Kev DuRose and myself spent 11 hours in a raptor hide ---in the middle of a very snowy raised bog the weather was cool with constant snow falling--a red fox acted as bait and we were fortunate to have the company of a first winter Golden Eagle during the day but it spent much of the time on some trees 200m away watching the fox---in spite of the weather some decent images were obtained showing the weather and eagle---thanks are due to Daniel and Walter for organising the day and transporting us to the hide
