islandica

this flock of 34 islandica Black-tails look as if they may well summer on the Humber--there were 36 two days ago with a colour ringed juvenile ringed in N Icleand in July 2006 it appeared on my patch at Waters' Edge in November 2006 then moved to Killingholme and East Halton where it spent most of the winter feeding in a field of oilseed rape---for the photo enthusiasts the first 3 pics were taken with the 300 2.8 and stacked 1.4 and 2x converters and the latter two with the 2x converter
