2 BK's in a year in Lincs
I had the good fortune to find the first Black Kite for Lincs at East Halton pit in 1979---28 years have passed and this year I have managed to see two more or is it just the one? could this bird found by Andy Sims and Pete Haywood be the same bird which I saw at Barton in May and which had previously been hanging around in North Norfolk; images are pretty small but a selection follows this post- in a couple of the shots you can just see the tail barring; I assume this to be a 2cy bird which has just started its inner primary moult and has also moulted some underwing coverts;
