




it was pretty cold when we arrive din Finland at Ivalo and for the first two days (June 5th - 6th) temperatures never got above 3C with frequent snow showers and wind chill at night it was all layers weather; one of our first stops was the famous feeders at Kaamanen where there was a wealth of finches; a mix of Mealy and Arctic Redpolls was present with these being some of the nicer Arctics
