distant and behind a reedbed so dross images -- the male harrier was flying round the adult hare and kept dropping towards it with the hare eventually fighting back -- it ended with both standing opposing each other in a stare out before the harrier flew off -- as it had a leveret last week it was maybe testing this adult to see if it had young nearby?
