numbers building quickly at Alkborough but the tension of all those failed nesting attempts still seems to be evident in the gathering flock with lots of falling out and mock fights taking place - Avocet colour rings can often be difficult to work out as the colours used seem to be affected by fading and staining but this one looks like Yellow/Blue, Green/Red?metal
