White-headed Ducks

I had never had other than distant views of White-headed Ducks before in Spain so this was a fortuitous encounter; we visited a heavily locked reserve near Osuna and even though a group of students were being admitted we were refused access but we found by walking a couple of 100m down the road we could look over a low wall and get better views of the wildfowl that included c40 White-headed Ducks, Black-necked Grebes etc -- a new species for my photo collection
