the Norfolk Eastern Yellow Wagtail

a trip to enjoy this super little bird and then appreciate why Norfolk is such a good birding county in winter as a quick wander along the north coast added c10 Red Kites, several Marsh Harriers, female Hen Harrier, Rough-legged Buzzard, Water Pipit, 4 Great White and 3 Cattle Egrets and the entertaining and interesting Grey-bellied Brant (never thought I would say that) --

light conditions were very challenging looking straight into the low bright sun and hence subtle colour tones were hard to retain -- although I have a Canon 2x converter I seldom use it preferring the 1.4x as the 2x slows down the 5D4 but in this case I put it on the 400 DO2 as the bird was not close enough -- first two are with the 1.4x cropped and the rest with the 2x -- light levels were low as well as difficult with 1600 ISO and speeds like 350th second -- iPhone video link below with the Swaro 95 scope
