another rare wader Baird's sandpiper at East Halton

Found by Steve Routledge late on the 14th I joined him and John early on the 15th and it flew back into its favoured pool - light was very difficult, from the side and bright sun and after about 40 minutes it had a preen, called and flew off - amazingly have seen Sharp-tailed, White-rumped, Pectoral, Baird's, Buff-breasted and Semi-palmated Sandpipers plus Lesser Yellowlegs this autumn all in Lincolnshire except the Sharp-tailed!
