having been ithe Isle of Axholme on surveys I called in at Crowle Waste late morning in the hope of getting some Hobby shots---there was a fine show of Cotton Grass around the cleared areas--two vociferous Cuckoos, a Nightingale audible, good numbers of Tree Pipits, two Hobbies fairly briefly and a pair of immature Peregines attacking the Black-headed Gulls
