a small wader arrival at Barton produced a mixed flock of 22 Dunlin, 12 Ringed Plover, 10 Sanderling and 4 Turnstone--the Sanderling were the first of the spring on a typical date---also 6 Little Gulls on pit25, five first-summers and a single second summer taking the spring total to at least nine birds--a Short-eared Owl still lingering on the foreshore--- Posted by Hello
