







the venture onto the Lincs coast at Rimac failed to turn up a single skua the first time I have ever been there in August and not seen at least an Arctic---the highlight was two juvenile Black Terns which passed by allowing the most rudimentary of record shots in the typically terrible light--very few waders were about but an adult and a juvenile Sanderling also produced some record shots before the heavens opened
