having seen a couple of the young Barn Owls from a local nest on the wing two weeks ago it was a surprise to find the adult stil bringing in food this evening--in spite of the very poor light, photos on 400 and 800ISO, two of the juveniles were exploring around the nest site and giving very cloe views---one came so close to me that I missed the shot as it was too close to focus on--here is the adult with food and one of the juveniles on the wing, in one shot being buzzed by a Sparrowhawk, and sitting on a concrete bridge looking for frogs no doubt
