although there have been up to 5000 Black-tailed Godwits at North Killingholme this month it seems to be difficult to get shots which show the spectacle of so many birds but today's efforts, backlit for the most part, have been my most successful so far---they look better in larger format and I have a placed a couple on the other blog http://nycteagallery.blogspot.com/
