I love Squaccos and there were plenty at Phasouri marshes each morning so I made a point of getting there at first light to capture the beautiful atmospheric impression in that first hour after sunrise---to my mind the quality of these images is some of the best I have taken; close birds are cropped from full frame and were taken with the 300mm
