swifts and swallow




I was looking forward to trying out the prime 300mm lens and 1.4 on flying swifts but in the event few Pallids were low down and Alpines were often in poor light but these two show the difference in sharpness between the shots taken last May with the 100-400 and the 300 with 1.4----the Red-rumped Swallow was a nice shot for a species notoriously diffiicult to photograph in a good pose
