we spent several hours photographing these superb birds in excellent light; even so a large % were not sharp; the males seemed worse than the females possibly due to less contrast for the AF on the whiter underparts? but if you take 1000 or so images a few should be good!And another trip ends -- looking forward to the next photo tour in the spring!

Hi Graham, enjoyed viewing your trip photo blog. I know what you mean about 1000 shots and one might be OK!!! Been there so many times. My turn next month with a trip to Cyprus. I'll see if I can get online over there. Steve
