we have just had a week in the often windy and wet Outer Hebs on North Uist where our cottage had a rather fine view (upper image) at least 3 Short-eared Owls were hunting around the garden with a male Hen Harrier; birds seen from the garden included Golden and White-tailed eagles, Peregrines, Merlins, Black Guillys, Black and Red-throated Divers, Arctic Skuas chasing the terns and the odd Otter -- a great place on a nice day BUT they do seem to be odd days -- not many bird images due to wind, rain, cloud and rather flighty waders and no mega seabirds
I will be posting more landscapes on http://nycteagallery.blogspot.com/
