brief visit to Far Ings this afternoon by this stunner and always distant maybe a reflection of the banging doors and gates and the local chain saw fetishist -- would love to know what age this bird is -- latest ideas suggest they are far from easy but surely beyond 3cy?

Short-eared Owl
the afternoon was supposed to be sunny but needless to say they got it wrong but I had a bit of luck with this bird -- light fading but best I have had for some years on SEO's
