Garganey

thought this was a juvenile but seems to have a whitish belly and certainly a broad white trailing edge so should be an adult female but retrices are seriously pointed, usually a juv feature and coverts are all pristine and pale tipped?  a rather poor reward for 8 hours slog after the Squacco  -- maybe tonight
