In the sun yesterday plenty of Honey Bee action on the willow flowers - I think the new Canon 100-400 although limited to f8 at the 400mm end is a really good value lens at £650 -- the viewfinder is a bit dull obviously but the sharpness at 0.8m close focus is ideal for the sort of insect shots that I do and walking round all day with a camera and lens that only weighs 1315 gms is a real bonus
