 called in after a trip to Wykeham in a very strong wind - nothing spectacular and I think I have had my best chances with this bird on past visits 

Heath Bumblebee Bombus jonellus

 Doing a bit of bee - ing at Alkborough yesterday came across this one on the white clover - knew it was different but went for Garden Bumblebee on status but turns out it is Heath Bumblebee Bombus jonellus and apparently only about the 3rd record for Lincolnshire 

Ringed Plovers Arctic bound

Arctic bound Ringed Plovers on the Humber this morning - flock of 80 today and 107 in a different location yesterday - one bird of this flock was noticeably darker than the rest but colour tones varied markedly in the bright sun v shade

Broad-bordered Bee Hawk-moths

 Have meant to look for these in the past but never got round to going - at least 6 different individuals today at Chambers - cracking little beasts
