1cy male Hen Harrier at 6400 ISO

 British winter weather is less than conducive to decent photography hence the 6400 ISO shots again today and even then only managed 1/500th second at 5.6 -- nice bird though 

Covenham Reservoir on a dismal November day

 The resident birds Slavonian Grebe, Great Northern Diver and juvenile male Velvet Scoter on a truly dull and dismal day that lacked light -- and to add to the lack of daylight the water is currently a deep slimy green and well down the banks so angles on closish birds are not at all nice but beggars
