adders

had a day snaking around the forest; some males yet to shed their skins were found in the morning then in the afternoon we came across two skins and a male which had very recently shed its skin and still had about 8cm on its tail; it was hanging around a female which kept well hidden in the grass----photos here of the dark coloured males yet to shed and the nice bright new skinned male with the last remnants of its old skin in the bottom of the lower image
