Horseshoe Point terns and light

last evening was spent at Horseshoe watching the 3000+ Common terns that came in with 5 Blacks and a single Roseate but with a high spring tide, strong west wind and skitting clouds it was more an evening of light and how the birds fitted into the general environment and the feel of the place -- trying to capture feelings and ambience in a bird photo is I guess never easy or even possible
